What a whirlwind week we’ve had where the New Zealand way of life was turned upside down. From the daily updates from government around social distancing, through to the end announcement of the whole country going into lockdown for a minimum of 4 weeks. My season ended last weekend with my remaining 12 weddings to the end of June being forced to postpone.

Before the final nail in the coffin, I shot one last wedding last weekend to end my season. And what a wedding it was. Ashleigh and Tyler, had the tough tasks of replanning huge aspects of the day with the first wave of government announcements, from guests having to pull out to having to cull the reception by 50 people the day before the wedding.

We got there in the end, and shit it was good for the soul. Thank you Ashleigh and Tyler, and thank you to all my awesome couples, vendors and creatives I’ve worked with this season.
