The venue, photographer and videographer were non-negotiables

Rose & Smith wedding featured on Together Journal

Jase and I had decided that the venue, photographer and videographer were non-negotiables and were happy to spend accordingly. I had wanted to be married at Rose & Smith since I was a little girl attending the January race meet every year with my family. The grounds were perfect, and Paula was so accommodating. It was essential that we were able to have our dogs and horses at the wedding and these grounds couldn’t have suited that more. We knew the footage from the day was going to become the lasting memories to be able to look back on and share with our kids. The effort and end result that Dave and Ben delivered was far beyond our expectations and I could not recommend these two highly enough.

Libby and Pouki's wedding at one of the best venues in Wairarapa, Rose & Smith at Tauherenikau

Those summer light and bright vibes for Libby and Pouki’s winter wedding at Rose & Smith.

A beautiful winter wedding at the elegant, moody and lush Rose & Smith at Tauherenikau
— Libby & Pouki

Winter weddings are such a vibe. Libby a little fire cracker and Poukie with his fat lush lips brought light and bright and summer vibes to the always beautiful, elegant and lush surrounds of @rose_and_smith
If you rearrange the words Peaky Blinders and add and subtract a few vowels and syllables you get the words Rhythm & Vines Summer Bangers and this wedding was it minus summer and rhythm and vines. Where am I going with this yarn, who knows, but they also had summer bays finest Alf Stewart as MC and my lord stone the flaming crows there were some cracking speeches and even a group sing along. To finish up my korero, as the saying goes, if it’s not right it’s wrong so check out 10 smokin schnaaaps to light up your cold winter night #stillsxmotionnz #davidle_nz @davidle_nz @sinkorsurface

Anna and Brian's winter wedding at Wellington Venue Tarureka Estate

Anna, Brian and Mac, married up in the loft at Tarureka Estate

111,000 Lightning strikes in the lead up to their wedding day couldn’t dampen their spirits
— Anna and Brian

Woweeee we’ve had some hectic weather to greet us for the start of winter. Plenty of rain, 100k lightning strikes and more rain. This didn’t faze Anna and Brian who always had planned for an inside wedding up in the loft at the always stunning @tarurekaestate
Mid morning Brian and I figured out we knew each from way back over 15 years ago when I was a young whipper schnapper in the print game. More often than not I always end up knowing someone somehow at each wedding I shoot. By the time the ceremony rolled around, blue skies came out to play. Little Mac did his part by being cute and the team @crescendocuisine fed the troops mighty mighty well. Only a couple more winter weddings to go but here’s 10 snaps of Anna and Brian’s beautiful day to scroll your eyes over.
