Sony Australia & New Zealand Kando 2026 with David Le Photography

Sony brought together creatives from across Australia and New Zealand for Kando 2026.

Kando (感動) is a Japanese word that means being deeply moved, touched, or inspired by something of high value or beauty

Oh the places you’ll go.

What a whirlwind week it was swapping the wild weather of Aotearoa for the sunshine & warmth of NSW, Australia attending my first Kando by Sony | Alpha AU & NZ

Sony bought creatives from both sides of the ditch together to experience some amazing settings, places, enjoy good food & drink and use some of the latest and greatest camera gear my money can’t buy.

Getting to photograph things completely out of my wheelhouse from fashion, to landscapes, fighter jets and even the odd camel. I got to connect with some of the best creatives in their field, got asked to be part of a focus session with a small selection of others with team from Sony – Japan Japan, this small town boy was soaking in everything.

23 hours of being awake on day one, the early morning starts, the late night dinners and jamming on a PS5 for a little quiet time.

Forever grateful of where this vocation has taken me, to all the people who helped me get here, I’m excited about future and thanks to Jun & Nick and all the crew behind the scenes who helped bring this experience together.

A snapshot of Sony Kando Trip ANZ 2026 🙌 From Sony Ambassadors and Scene Advocates to photographers, filmmakers and creators from across Australia and New Zealand, we spent an unforgettable week exploring, creating and connecting as one community. Kando is Sony's core philosophy—to fill the world with emotion through the power of creativity and technology. It's this philosophy that brings Kando Trip to life, creating opportunities to learn, collaborate and be inspired together.
