Was back up to the beautiful Hawke’s Bay for the wedding of Jodi and Thomas at the Old Church in Napier. We were greeted with a scorcher. There was plenty of banter from everyone all day, huge smiles and a whole lot of fun.

Jodi you’re a bloody star and Thomas, mate giving it the jandal all day!

When talented vendors and Waipatiki Beach combine = love

The thing about weddings is you get to meet some wickedly talented creatives.

When Toni, the creative genius behind Magdalen Hill, contacted me and ask if I could be part of this shoot Josie was creating, I couldn’t say no, plus The Pretty Little Details were supplying the cake and donuts and I got to have rbuch and hang out with the talent which is Meredith Lord.

This shoot took the team just a little over a week to set up, but I knew it would come out perfectly even with so little time because I was working with some of the best this industry has to offer.
It always amazes me the talent that these people I work with have and so it was nice to spend the afternoon with these guys and find the time to collaborate..

Here’s our shoot at Waipatiki beach just north of Napier in the Hawke’s Bay, a great spot with some amazing views and some beautiful evening light. Looking forward to working with this talented bunch in the upcoming season!

With the wedding industry you get to experience a big party every weekend pretty 10 months of the year. And along with that you get the opportunity to work with some amazing creatives and vendors, one of them being Jacinda from Pretty Little Details. She makes the most amazing cakes and every wedding she has been involved in has turned to gold.
