Was another weekend of a double banger in the mighty Manawatu region. Saturday took me out to Makoura Lodge in Apiti. The cold morning, scorching hot sun, the gusting wind and the torrential rain, we had it all for Jess and Jono’s big day.
But with a bit of on the fly decisions, plenty of beersies and the uncles, we got it done!

Leigh and Josie wedding at Caccia Birch House, florals, colour and a tonne of style
I don’t often get to do many weddings in Palmy so to be able to go back to back weekends in my hometown is a bloody dream scenario. This past weekend I got to hang with Josie and Leigh. I worked with Leigh before making this photog gig my full time vocation and it was great being able to hang with some familar faces and increase the banter levels by a couple of notches.
These guys did an amazing from designing and creating their own wedding stationery and signage. Their Maid of honor and groomsmen did the florals and videography and and the weather did its part too and gave us the perfect weather.

Good things take time and that’s when Tinder comes in handy because let’s be honest no one is getting any younger. Teena and Willie jumped on the swipe right bandwagon, a few chats later they decided they’ve found the one and they got married in front of all their closest friends and family.

Accountants have better work stories, as a Rocketman
February is coming to an end and it’s been hectic. With me travelling all over the North Island, it was nice to get one back in my hometown. Aimee + Philip married at Roseburn PArk (formerly known as Wakefield Lodge) just on the outskirts of Palmy.
A few gnomes, a clothesline of Rosemary Beads and remembering Emily’s dog, it was a beauty of a day. A few snaps from these classy kids wedding.
