I've been waiting to blog this wedding since before I even shot it! First of all, just take a look at Gillian + Michael, not only do they look gorgeous on the outside, they are also beautiful on the inside. Secondly, that view was errrmeegerd (I was sweating like a pig on a spit after that 30min hike up the hill!) Thirdly, Gillian + Michael chose to do a ‘first look’ and it was such an incredible feeling being able to capture it for them. And lastly, the day was perfectly capped off with the most beautiful sunset.

Hawkes Bay put on a stunner for these two, it was just us three, the Celebrant Wendy Morrison and her husband Doug (legend, carrier of all things and second witness - I was the other!).

Hey I shot a film...

I was lucky enough to be a part of these two babes intimate little wedding held at sunset on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful east coast beaches of Aotearoa.
We hiked up the hill for 30 minutes, I took some snaps, we had a sunset picnic with bubbly and in between it all I shot a little film.

Pictures to follow...

A kiwi and a jamaican walk into a bar...

2017 is nearly wrapping up and that means I still had a couple weddings before we welcome in the New Year.

One of those was Toni + Adrian's. Who travelled over from Hong Kong with their cute daughter Aria to marry in front of tight knit group of friends and family in little old Cheltenham.

Homemade bouquets, crayfish for days, lettuce fields and an ice cream truck, can't wait to share more from this sweeeet wedding, chur.

Committed

Rene + Tamarin, committed and awesome!

Just smashing through some editing on a freezing cold spring night and stumbled across this bad boy. Was the last shot of Rene + Tamarin we took out on the rocks, in fading light (was pretty much pitch black). We waited for the right wave to roll in and BOOM, we got it and hurried off the rocks (the next wave would of creamed us!).

Was it safe....probably not, but you've got to have a little adventure in your life or else it's boring ain't it?

Full blog post of these love birds and their awesome island wedding is coming soon!
