Another Friday banger to get you ready for the weekend. Sharni + Michael's wedding which is featured in the latest Wild Heartsmagazine is now up on their blog too. Get your antihistamines ready, because its full of floral goodness!!!
The thing about weddings is you get to meet some wickedly talented creatives.
When Toni, the creative genius behind Magdalen Hill, contacted me and ask if I could be part of this shoot Josie was creating, I couldn’t say no, plus The Pretty Little Details were supplying the cake and donuts and I got to have rbuch and hang out with the talent which is Meredith Lord.
This shoot took the team just a little over a week to set up, but I knew it would come out perfectly even with so little time because I was working with some of the best this industry has to offer.
It always amazes me the talent that these people I work with have and so it was nice to spend the afternoon with these guys and find the time to collaborate..
Here’s our shoot at Waipatiki beach just north of Napier in the Hawke’s Bay, a great spot with some amazing views and some beautiful evening light. Looking forward to working with this talented bunch in the upcoming season!

“The mind must reel when it comes to figuring out what you’d like to do for your wedding reception. Round tables? Long tables? How about no tables at all? What about seating? Metal chairs? Wooden? And don’t even get us started on lighting and florals! The options are positively endless, which is why we’ve rounded up 20 of our fave table styling ideas to set you off in the right direction”
“We’ve been hoarding naked and semi-naked cake images over the last few months because, well, who doesn’t love a bit of cake spam! Our Insta feeds are filled with amazing creations from some of our fave cake makers on the daily so we thought why not contribute to the sugar overload with this roundup”
Weddings should be a big party which involves two families, some yummy drinks, quality food and two people who happen to be saying I Do.
