“Summer sessions”
Big week in the Manawatu has got this old boys body aching but the heart is full. Couple of stunning weddings but I also snuck in a sunset session earlier in the week with the Morris Whanau. I met this sweet little fam at a wedding a year ago where Anna was also the celebrant @anna.celebrant
Was great catching up, talking about some sweet NBA chat, piggy backs with @corona and getting our cars locked in the car park.

April and Hugo had a bit of whirlwind week leading up to the big dance with a little cyclone passing through and dumping a truck load of rain flooding their wedding venue a few days out. With the possibility of having to postpone the wedding, Aprils fam got together and put the wheels in motion in finding a new venue. Rounding off November I had the opportunity to capture the small intimate wedding of Jacinda and Christian in the Manawatu. We ventured out to Palmerston Norths newest wedding venue The Walnut Grove for some snaps, they held a small beautiful ceremony and at Zing Yoga Studio where they also attend, and had a lunch reception at the restaurant they had their first date.

It’s been a wee while since I have photographed people with my last winter wedding being in July and the onset of another lockdown. With this shoot planned a few months ago but weather and other events popping up delaying the original and reshoot dates we managed to get to level 2 and reschedule this baddy.
But the wild spring weather threw us another spanner in the works, so a little late night brainstorm and chat with my bud Elle from Wild & Ginger Florals and Toni Larsen Photography allowing me to use her studio space, we managed to finally take some snaps of Kate and Hamish’s little pepe Mana.
How good looking are these three! Especially little Mana, officially the worlds cutest baby as voted by everyone who looks at him!
