Well, here we are, already over halfway through 2022 and delivering issue 27! We’ve had so much fun putting this issue together! With restrictions easing, our ability to reconnect with people from our community was an extra boost.

It’s been a whole year since I’ve been back to @tarurekaestate and what a stunner of a day to back to it. David and Teri, super lovely, ridiculously chilled, authentic people who added their sweet small details and pops of colour. With a week of hellishly typical Wellington weather in the build up to the big dance we scored a stunner of a bluebird day. Working with a bunch of my Welly and Wairarapa faves and topped off with some super lush florals by @the_wild_flower_wgtn - check out some snaps and how good are David’s boots, damn boy they some spicy shoes!!!

I’ve gotten to the stage in my life where I only invest my time and energy with people who have the same vibe and values. And that also transfers across to the clients whom I document their wedding days for. Pia and AJ and their whole squad were my type of people.

Pumped about life, super humble and super lovely. I’ve experienced some high energy fun loving groups but these guys and all their guest really took it to another level, I couldn’t help but smile and laugh and just feel pure happiness going through the preview edits for these guys.

This summer weather the last month has been ahhhhhmazing minus the ahhhhmazing part. Cyclones, rain and humidity turned up to eleven, it hasn’t been the easiest or most ideal conditions to get married in. Lucky for Shannai & Andy they had an incredible plan B, C & D and the incredibly talented @evokefloralstylist to create a space that was a dream. A few snaps of the wet and wild day featuring some A crop vendors and created alongside my fedora wearing mate @sinkorsurface
