Tara and Lee’s wedding featured over at Wild Hearts

A countryside soiree with a a mix of moody floral tones for Tara + Lee’s Palmerston North wedding. Set on the hill side of Tara’s family farm with a clear marquee, surrounded by trees and green. 

Tara in her stunning Karen Willis Holmes gown, captured beautifully by photographer David Le and filmed by Sink or Surface, with flora and styling by Amy of Oh So Pretty Styling & Design. It was a magical day spent with their nearest and dearest. Jewel toned blooms, cascading greenery and filled the candlelit tables. With lights hanging above creating a starlit sky, it was the perfect setting to dance the night way!

I don’t often get to do many weddings in Palmy so to be able to go back to back weekends in my hometown is a bloody dream scenario. This past weekend I got to hang with Josie and Leigh. I worked with Leigh before making this photog gig my full time vocation and it was great being able to hang with some familar faces and increase the banter levels by a couple of notches.

These guys did an amazing from designing and creating their own wedding stationery and signage. Their Maid of honor and groomsmen did the florals and videography and and the weather did its part too and gave us the perfect weather.

Another year another banger! Thank you to everyone that has helped me, hired me and trusted me through 2019. You guys are the real MVPs! I’ve shot wedding sin Tipis, in clear marquees and all over in different venues and places around New Zealand.

To all the amazingly talented vendors, the venues and shout out to the catering staff who always feed me up good, with you guys being awesome it makes my job that much more fun and easier!

And finally to all the loved up couples, the people who hire me and the people who like me haha you guys help me do the things I love and also help me get the opportunity to spend time with my kids, high five you bloody legends!

This week I travelled up the west coast along the surf highway for the wedding of Ellen and Mark. Held at one of the most sort after venues in Taranaki, Dekens Barn in Oakura. The only day of the week where it didn’t rain buckets, was just a little bit of faith. Super big party, a whole lot of fun and finally a rustic wedding where their was no hessian or jam jars in sight!
