Spent the weekend catching up with some of my wedding couples, a few work meetings, plenty of coffees and refuelling the soul. In amongst the hectic little schedule, we snuck in a little engagement shoot for Jess + Ben. Wellington turned on the weather, heaps of wind and plenty of cold, here’s a few snaps of these babes!!!
Wellington Anniversary weekend brought me down to the Lime Scooter capital of New Zealand Lower Hutt, specifically the Dowse Art Museum. Hannah and Mike did things their own way and caught up with guest during cocktail hour before the ceremony and married in the courtyard in the heart of the Dowse.
Good wine, great artwork and good vibes, how weddings should be.
I’ve had a busy off season with commercial work, charity and the odd wedding, but I’m pumped for the upcoming summer where I get to smash out some more awesome. Hanging with choice couples, working along side some super talented vendors and travelling around to some sweet locations around New Zealand.
If you’re wedding is coming up, I’m looking forward to being a part of your big day! And if you’re looking at getting married or eloping or have some choice creative event you want covered, give me a buzz, let’s make awesome! Yeeeeeeow!
Had my first mission out to Red Rocks Reserve on the bottom coast of Wellington on the weekend with Sarah-Jan, Ben and their two puppies.
As per typical Wellington weather it blew a gale but the sun was out and we managed not to be attacked by any fur seals while venturing out on to the rocks (they are camo as F).
Here’s few quick frames from their sweet little Saturday evening engagement shoot, looking forward to their wedding at Tarureka next year, yeeeow!
This weekend was the end of my winter wedding season at Black Barn Vineyards in Hawke's Bay New Zealand.
And here’s the last shot from Rebecca + Callum’s wedding, where I gave a crash course on astrophotography to Jason from Bad Panda Productions - aka I talked sh*t while we stood in the cold next to our cameras, yeeeeeow!!
Can't wait to share some beauty's from their wedding, check back soon!

I don't really have a "wedding season" that I work too, which means I shoot weddings all year round, in all weather conditions that little old New Zealand throws at us.
Victoria + Sam got married on a brisk winters day, down in the Wairarapa utilising some of the best venues, all mixed in with sun, rain, wind and fog. The ceremony + reception was held at Brackenbridge Estate, we did the first look at Burnside Church and drove into the back blocks of Pirinoa to Pallisters Ridge for the bridal photos.

Another wedding another weekend away to hang with beautiful goodhearted people. I hung out with Brooke + Cam down in Wellington for their super chilled wedding at Glenview Country Gadrens. The Hutt put on a stunner, check out a few frames from this weekend!
I've been waiting to blog this wedding since before I even shot it! First of all, just take a look at Gillian + Michael, not only do they look gorgeous on the outside, they are also beautiful on the inside. Secondly, that view was errrmeegerd (I was sweating like a pig on a spit after that 30min hike up the hill!) Thirdly, Gillian + Michael chose to do a ‘first look’ and it was such an incredible feeling being able to capture it for them. And lastly, the day was perfectly capped off with the most beautiful sunset.
Hawkes Bay put on a stunner for these two, it was just us three, the Celebrant Wendy Morrison and her husband Doug (legend, carrier of all things and second witness - I was the other!).

A quick frame from Dee + Karl's inner city wedding at the Boatshed in Wellington this weekend. Super chilled vibes, no bridal party, and canapés for days.
Here's Dee, who arrived to the first look location before Karl and I, you beauty!
