Here comes a little Jimmy Thunder

After a self imposed 2 week summer break with the fambam I was back at it again for the wedding of Amanda + Hayden.

They married in the sweet little corner of Pohangina Valley, surround by their closest friends and family, and even old Jimmy Thunder said hello during the ceremony before it pissed down buckets!!!

I've been waiting to blog this wedding since before I even shot it! First of all, just take a look at Gillian + Michael, not only do they look gorgeous on the outside, they are also beautiful on the inside. Secondly, that view was errrmeegerd (I was sweating like a pig on a spit after that 30min hike up the hill!) Thirdly, Gillian + Michael chose to do a ‘first look’ and it was such an incredible feeling being able to capture it for them. And lastly, the day was perfectly capped off with the most beautiful sunset.

Hawkes Bay put on a stunner for these two, it was just us three, the Celebrant Wendy Morrison and her husband Doug (legend, carrier of all things and second witness - I was the other!).

Hey I shot a film...

I was lucky enough to be a part of these two babes intimate little wedding held at sunset on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful east coast beaches of Aotearoa.
We hiked up the hill for 30 minutes, I took some snaps, we had a sunset picnic with bubbly and in between it all I shot a little film.

New Years Eve Wedding, Boyup style!!!

2017 has been wicked, I went all in with the wedding photography as my full time gig, went to some amazing places and met a tonne of awesome people!

Weddings kept me busy all year round right up to New Years Eve, where I was out at Mt Lees for the document Alex + Freedom's big day.

They flew over from Aussie and invited half of Boyup to the party.

Looking forward to more of the same for 2018, boomfah!!!

2017 is nearly wrapping up and that means I still had a couple weddings before we welcome in the New Year.

One of those was Toni + Adrian's. Who travelled over from Hong Kong with their cute daughter Aria to marry in front of tight knit group of friends and family in little old Cheltenham.

Homemade bouquets, crayfish for days, lettuce fields and an ice cream truck, can't wait to share more from this sweeeet wedding, chur.
